Terms of Service

By accessing or using LanguagePrep ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Service.

LanguagePrep provides online mock exam materials for German language qualifications, including but not limited to TELC German exams at levels A1, A2, and B1. The Service includes:

• Timed mock exam sessions covering Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking sections.
• Automated scoring and results analysis.
• A personal dashboard to track exam history and progress.
• Estimated band grades based on your performance.

The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use for educational preparation purposes only.

To access certain features (such as saving results to your dashboard), you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or redistribute exam content or materials without our express written permission.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes any third-party rights.

All exam content, questions, scoring rubrics, design, code, and materials available through the Service are the intellectual property of LanguagePrep or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service.

TELC is a registered trademark of the TELC GmbH. LanguagePrep is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to TELC GmbH or any official examination body.

Certain mock exams are available free of charge without an account. A registered account is required to save and review past attempts.

Premium subscription features (when available) will be subject to additional terms and pricing communicated at the time of purchase. Premium subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

LanguagePrep is an independent preparation platform. Completion of mock exams on this platform does not guarantee any particular result in an official TELC or other examination.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Exam content is designed to reflect the style and difficulty of official exams but may not be identical to official materials.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LanguagePrep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@languageprep.de.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
