Refund Policy

1. Overview

LanguagePrep offers a 14-day refund policy on all premium access purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the transaction date, no questions asked.

Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and refund disbursements on our behalf.

2. Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund if:

  • Your purchase was made within the last 14 days.
  • You have not previously received a refund for the same product.

Refund requests made after 14 days from the purchase date will not be eligible unless required by applicable law.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at support@languageprep.de with your order details (email address used at checkout and approximate purchase date).

We aim to process all refund requests within 2 business days. Once approved, Paddle will issue the refund to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, funds typically appear within 5–10 business days.

4. Effect of Refund

Upon processing a refund, your premium access will be revoked and your account will revert to free tier access. Any exam attempts completed during the subscription period will remain visible in your dashboard in read-only mode.

5. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are happy to resolve any payment issues directly and promptly. Chargebacks that are disputed and found in our favour may result in account suspension.

6. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. If you are based in the EU or UK, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Directive or the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
